Can I still register to vote?
No, the last day to register for the November 3rd general election was October 5th. If you submit a voter registration form or register online after October 5, 2020, you will be eligible to vote in future elections.I have since moved.

Do I need to update my registration before requesting my ballot?
If you have moved within the same precinct but did not update your registration address before October 5th, you may vote a regular ballot at your regular polling location after completing a voter registration form to update your address. If you moved to a different precinct or county, you can vote a provisional ballot in-person at the office of the board of elections or on Election Day at the polling place in the precinct where you now reside. Please contact your board of elections for more information.

If you choose not to wear one, you will be asked to vote curbside. If you choose not to vote curbside, you will still be able to vote. No matter what, no one will be denied the opportunity to cast a ballot. Curbside voting is available at the early vote center or your polling location on Election Day.

North Royalton Charter Amendment Issue #24

Vote NO on Issue #24

North Royalton Residents please make sure you vote all the way down your ballots. Because there are four Charter Amendments on the November 3, 2020 General Election Ballot. Most importantly Issue #24 is another attempt by the North Royalton Mayor after his failed unilateral closure of our city jail to undermine public safety of the community by rewarding political cronies jobs, a power grab to silence any future chiefs from not doing his will or bidding, creates an opportunity to possibly defund our police department by making both police and fire divisions under a new “Public Safety Department”, and worse if the Charter Amendment is approved. Vote No on Issue #24 and KEEP Politics OUT of our Public Safety Forces!

North Royalton Charter Amendment Issue #26

Vote NO on Issue #26

North Royalton Residents please make sure you vote all the way down your ballots. Because there are four Charter Amendments on the November 3, 2020 General Election Ballot. Issue #26 is another Charter Amendment you should consider voting NO on.

Here are some reasons why you should also Vote NO on Issue #26

  • Adding additional ways to waive the requirement of public bidding and picking the lowest and/or best bidder is not fiscally responsible for the City or taxpayers.
  • Ballot language for this Charter Amendment is also vague, confusing, misleading, lacks transparency, and meant to trick voters. The term “Emergency” especially is too broad and not clearly defined to protect taxpayers from possible fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • The City of North Royalton has existed since 1818 with various forms of government and have been able to operate in delivering services to residents even during times of Emergency.
  • Charter Amendment is not necessary. COVID-19 has not stopped the City of North Royalton from functioning or even completing projects during this global pandemic.
