Summer Safety Tips

The Police Department has reported that some vehicles have been broken into this summer. These vehicles were unlocked and several items were stolen from them. In one case an open garage was entered, where a purse was stolen and credit cards were used here in town. There were way too many targets of opportunity for these thieves, remember to lock your valuables and homes up! Also if you see something suspicious in your neighborhood report it to the North Royalton Police Department. See Something Say Something! If you have plans to go on a vacation this summer or will be out of town. You can also contact the North Royalton Police Department to advise when you will be out of town and request a vacation watch. The non-urgent number to the Southwest Emergency Dispatch Center for North Royalton is 440-237-8686.

FREE CPR Training
Ward 3 or any North Royalton Residents who would like to learn basic CPR/AED. The first (5)  residents who email me at ward3@northroyalton.org will get FREE CPR training taught by the North Royalton Fire Department at Fire Station 1 paid for by me. Class to be held on a date to be determined on a Saturday in August or September. I am doing this as a way to honor my late cousin Darryl who passed away suddenly last year. He was known for doing random acts of kindness and helping so many people in his short 37 years of life. I think more people these days need to learn basic CPR. You never know when such training may come in handy in an emergency.

Have a great rest of the week!

Dan Langshaw
Ward 3 Councilman
North Royalton City Council
