LAST WEEK IN YOUR SCHOOL BOARD

Attended the City Earth Energy Environment Committee meeting on July 7th.
The service department has installed three convenience stations, which enables residents to drop off recyclables anytime they want to at the following locations: Heasley Field, 5100 Wallings Road; Memorial Park, 14600 State Road; and the North Royalton Service Center, 11545 Royalton Road. The committee had some more discussion on next year’s city recycling calendar and offered some suggestions for alternative ways to fund it.The next EEE committee meeting will be held on September 1st at 7pm at City Hall.

The School Board met on July 8th for its’ Board Work Session. The Board reviewed the June Regular Meeting agenda items, and such other matters that came before the Board.

On July 9th attended the Broadview Heights Home Days. It was such a great time of fun games, entertainment, and activities. Most importantly I had the opportunity to catch up with some of my Broadview Heights constituents who live in the North Royalton School District as well.

Update on Summer Projects going on in the District
