Ward 3 E-Newsletter: November 2015

Greetings Ward 3 Resident,

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. Although the holiday season is close upon us, things continue to remain relatively busy here in city government as we start to prepare the 2016 city budget. Before I get into my update for this month, just have a few quick reminders.

Election Day
Franklin D. Roosevelt said it best “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting”. With that in mind please make sure you exercise your right to vote. This Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day. Polls are open from 6:30am-7:30pm. The following places are polling locations for Ward 3 residents:

North Royalton United Methodist Church
13601 Ridge Rd.
Voting Precinct 3A & 3C

St. Matthew Orthodox Church
10383 Albion Rd.
Voting Precinct 3B

South Point Community Church
13390 York Rd. Unit G
Voting Precinct 3D

If you are still not sure what your polling location is, then Click Here.  Or call the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections at 216-443-8683.

Fall is officially here. It is a fun time of the year with the leaves changing colors, hayrides, and Friday Night Football games to enjoy. Things remain relatively busy here in city government with a number of things to report on below.

Some quick reminders:

On the November 3rd General Election ballot there are Municipal, Judicial, and School Board candidates as well as State issues that you will be asked to vote on. October 5th is the last day to register to vote in the November General Election. October 6th Vote by Mail begins. To avoid lines on Election Day, and to allow extra time to study the ballot, all registered voters may Vote by Mail.
