Fight Against Oil Drilling Update
On December 15th the city received good news that the Ohio Oil and Gas Commission has reversed the mandatory pooling order regarding Cutter Oil Company’s attempt to force close to two acres of city streets into the proposed Callas drilling unit in the Planets subdivision siding with the city. Such as the oil spill on Mercury Drive, the rod that ejected from the Valley Vista Elementary School well, and the evacuation that was necessitated after a pressure release at another well in 2012. All of which should have all been taken into consideration and were not by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Oil and Gas Division’s chief. Read More.
