Support Deployed North Royalton Service Members with a Taste of Home
I recently heard about a neat project a Girl Scout Troop in our ward is doing to help North Royalton residents who are currently deployed serving in the US Military. As a US Army Veteran, I was very touch by what they are trying to do and I wanted to share with you all what these girls are doing. A group of girls from Girl Scout Troop #71571 has teamed up with North Royalton Veteran Liaison Wally Ohler to sell Girl Scout cookies for North Royalton residents serving in the US Military. Every box of cookies sold will be sent to service members while they are on deployment. Specifically they are trying to sell enough cookies to send to a naval carrier. Cookies go on sale from January 6th and will continue for about 6 weeks after. Cookies cost $4 a box. If you are interested in participating you can pay by cash or write a check out to Girl Scout Troop #71571 and mail it to 11328 Glen Abbey Drive, North Royalton, OH 44133. If you have any questions you can contact Girl Scout Cadette Leader Karen Kolosionek at 440-877-9188 or karenmkolosionek@aol.com.

Happy New Year!
